Through an ongoing partnership with International Health Partners (IHP), a global health non-government organisation supporting people in disaster-hit and vulnerable communities with vital medical support, we have expanded our efforts in delivering our purpose of Life Unlimited.
This is part of our ongoing commitment to ethical and responsible behaviour, as well as our Sustainability strategy focused on:
- People -Creating a lasting, positive impact on our communities
- Planet - Aiming to reduce our impact on the environment
- Products - Innovating sustainably.
We have donated needed and available products via IHP that have helped more than 222,000 patients, a significant increase in impact from our 2023 IHP partnership efforts, which reached 32,500 patients.
In April, IHP and Smith+Nephew shipped products via three non-profits to help people access healthcare in crisis areas. We will continue to work with IHP throughout the rest of the year to support various regions around the world, based on where our products can support patients in need.
