Combines nanocrystalline silver (NCS) technology with a flexible low-adherent layer to conform to body contours, delivering a sustained antimicrobial action for up to 7 days*1-5
A large surface area of NCS structure enables sustained release of silver into the wound fluid, while the dressing helps to promote and retain a moist environment, when used with an appropriate secondary dressing. Shown to deliver sufficient silver at a consistent concentration to remain bactericidal.**2-10
*Depending on dressing selection. ACTICOAT FLEX 3 offers up to 3 days’ use. ACTICOAT FLEX 7 offers up to 7 days’ use.
