Physical health is never just about our body. It’s our mind, feelings and ambitions. When something holds it back, it’s our whole life on hold.

We’re here to change that, to use technology to take the limits off living, and help other medical professionals do the same.

So that farmworkers, rugby players, grandmas and their grandkids stare down fear, see that anything’s possible, then go on stronger. Inspired by a simple promise. Two words that bring together all we do.

Life Unlimited.

During and post COVID-19

Throughout the global COVID-19 pandemic, we have prioritised the health, safety and wellbeing of employees, protecting jobs, supporting our customers and communities, and ensured that the business would be in a strong position to respond as the world began to reopen.

For example, we introduced new social distancing technology in our manufacturing sites and organised several vaccination efforts for our employees and their families across our global locations. We also provided personal protective equipment and ensure that support is available through our Employee Assistance Programme to address to our employees' emotional, financial, physical and social needs. We also introduced new ways of working, embracing technology that enables our colleagues to connect seamlessly from any location and building flexibility into our working practices for the long-term.

During the height of the pandemic, many of our colleagues stepped up to provide additional support to communities around the world. We offered special volunteering leave to colleagues who wished to return to front line care to provide care for critically ill patients. By collaborating with our suppliers and colleagues from Memphis and Costa Rica, we were able to produce over one million face shields. And our employees in Hull, UK engaged with the UK government's Ventilator Challenge. Collaborating with the University of Oxford and King's College London, they worked days, nights and weekends to develop a low-cost ventilator, built a manufacturing line and a supply chain capable of producing 700 units per week.
